This has been one of the most fun stories to write… and in some ways, the most difficult…

I want our friends in Abbott Creek to seem real to you. But that means they experience real emotions. and have their own problems to solve.

When introducing Bella in the last book, I already knew about her past — and why she came to Abbott Creek. I just wasn’t sure how to write about it. I hope you’ll welcome her to the community.

While writing this story, with much prayer… and tears… I wrote much more about Bella’s past. Then, with permission from my publisher,  I moved it to a new, blank document. Instead of adding it to this story, it will be included in the next book, Peach Cobbler Mystery, which has been tentatively scheduled for June 2018 — only four months away! 

Peach Cobbler Mystery will solve the mystery surrounding Bella, as well as allow Katie to “spread her wings” a bit more. 

I haven’t seen the cover for it, but I’m sure it will be just as delicious as the others.
